- Is there automatic face or plate detection?
- You currently select the areas yourself, which gives you full control without false positives.
- Can the blur or blackout be reversed?
- Neither can be recovered from the downloaded file. Blackout fully overwrites the pixels with a flat color, making it the safer option, since pixelation only averages the original pixels. Your original file stays untouched on your device.
- Can I resize or reposition a redaction box after I draw it?
- No, the box is committed to the image as soon as you release the drag; if it didn't cover the right spot, undo that step and draw the box again.
- Can I undo a redaction if I select the wrong area?
- Yes, the undo button steps back through your redactions one at a time by restoring the canvas to its state before the last box you drew.
- Does the downloaded image keep the original resolution?
- Yes, redactions are drawn directly onto a canvas sized to the original image dimensions, so the exported file keeps the same resolution as the file you uploaded.
