Terms of Use
Last updated: July 18, 2026
By using Filenary, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Scope of the Service
Filenary provides free tools for converting, editing and inspecting files in your browser. No account is required. Unless a tool clearly states otherwise, file processing takes place on your device.
2. Your Authority Over Files
You may use only files that you own or have the necessary permission to process. By processing a file, you represent that you have the rights required to use, copy, convert and create outputs from it. You retain ownership of your files; Filenary claims no rights over them.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the service to create or process unlawful content; infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or other third-party rights; distribute malware; harm, harass or deceive others; process personal data without authority; or violate applicable law. Access to relevant tools may be restricted where misuse is reasonably suspected.
4. Local Processing and Your Responsibilities
File tools primarily run in your browser. You remain responsible for the security of your device, browser and internet connection. Protect or delete downloaded files and browser data after use, especially on shared devices. Cookie and analytics practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Output Accuracy and Backups
Conversion results may vary with file structure, browser and device resources. Layout, formatting, metadata, colors, formulas, links or quality may not be fully preserved. Verify each output before relying on or sharing it, and keep backups of important files. The tools do not intentionally alter your original file on your device.
6. Sensitive and Legally Significant Documents
Filenary does not provide legal, financial, medical, official or professional advice. Tool outputs are not guaranteed to be official records, qualified electronic signatures, certified redactions, forensic examinations or proof of regulatory compliance. Do not use an output as the only copy or only verification method for critical documents; consult a qualified professional or certified service where appropriate.
7. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the service secure and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. A tool may be changed, limited or removed for maintenance, security, technical or legal reasons. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new date and apply only to use after the change.
8. Reasonable Limits of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and considering the free and automated nature of the service, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or loss of data that the user did not back up. Nothing here limits liability arising from intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any mandatory consumer right. You are expected to take reasonable steps to limit loss.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
Subject to mandatory law, these terms are governed by Turkish law. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. Consumers may apply to consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts in accordance with applicable monetary thresholds and jurisdiction rules. This clause does not remove mandatory consumer rights available to users in their country of residence.
